DatsQuick SMS Consent (Verbal Opt-In) Policy
Who we are
DatsQuick operates a restaurant ordering platform. Customers can phone a participating restaurant's number, which is answered by DatsQuick's ordering assistant.
What we text
One-way, transactional messages about the caller's own order only: (1) a secure link to pay for the order placed on the call, and (2) a link to resume the order if the call was interrupted or reached its time limit. We send one message per order event (typically one or two per order). We never send marketing or promotional messages and never share or sell phone numbers.
How consent is collected (verbal, during the call)
Before any text is sent, the assistant tells the caller who is texting, why, how often, and how to opt out, then asks the caller to confirm the number. Script:
"To finish your order I'll text you one secure payment link from DatsQuick. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Is the number ending in [last four digits] the right mobile?"
If the caller's number is not available, the assistant asks: "What mobile number should I text?", reads it back digit by digit, and asks the caller to confirm.
The caller must answer yes. If the answer is no, the assistant asks for a different number or does not send. The system will not send the text until the number has been confirmed on the call. The confirmation is stored in the call's audit record with a timestamp.
