This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our website at datsquick.com, our mobile applications, and our merchant management portal (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
From Customers
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
- Order information: delivery address, order history, and special instructions.
- Payment information: credit and debit card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number — only a tokenized reference and the last four digits for display purposes.
- Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on site, and device identifiers collected through Google Analytics and server logs.
- Communications: messages you send to our support team.
From Merchants (Stores and Restaurants)
Merchants who connect to receive payouts through our platform must complete a Stripe Connect identity verification process. In addition to the account data above, we collect:
- Business information: legal business name, address, phone number, and website.
- Representative information: name, date of birth, and address of the account representative.
- Tax identification: your EIN or the last four digits of your SSN, submitted directly to Stripe for identity verification. We do not receive or store your full SSN.
- Bank account information: routing and account numbers submitted directly to Stripe for payout disbursement. We do not store these numbers on our servers.
- Identity documents: any government-issued ID uploaded during Stripe's verification is transmitted directly to Stripe and is not stored on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process orders, payments, and refunds.
- To disburse earnings to merchant bank accounts.
- To verify merchant identity in compliance with financial regulations (KYC/AML).
- To communicate order confirmations, delivery updates, and support responses.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To analyze platform usage and improve our Services.
- To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful government requests.
- To send marketing communications where you have given consent (you can opt out at any time).
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:
- Stripe: We share payment and identity information with Stripe, Inc. to process payments and verify merchant accounts. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for information processed under its own services. Review Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.
- Delivery providers: For delivery orders, we share the delivery address and contact phone number with the fulfillment partner (e.g., Uber Direct) to complete the delivery.
- Service providers: We use third-party vendors for cloud hosting, analytics, and email delivery. They access data only to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DatsQuick, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
- Essential cookies: required for authentication and basic platform functionality. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics (Google Analytics): we collect anonymized usage statistics. Your IP address is anonymized before transmission to Google. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
5. Data Retention
- Customer accounts: retained until you request deletion, plus up to 90 days for backup recovery.
- Order records: retained for 7 years for financial and tax compliance.
- Merchant verification data: retained while your account is active and for 5 years thereafter to satisfy anti-money laundering regulations.
- Support communications: retained for 3 years.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights. To exercise them, contact us at privacy@datsquick.com:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of marketing: unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access or disclosure. Payment card data is never stored on our servers — all payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant.

Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
